Judging

QuiltNSW has established a Judging Education Program (JEP) to:

  • provide quality training and education to enable the JEPP participants to evaluate quilts in any local, regional, national or guild show; and
  • provide and actively promote a judging service for the benefit of QuiltNSW members and member groups.

This free service is currently available in the greater Sydney metropolitan area including the Central Coast, Wollongong and the Blue Mountains. Boundaries may be expanded in the future.

The judges provide a professional and impartial judging service and work within the parameters of the criteria set by the quilt show or challenge co-ordinators. Actual judging services are provided by individual JEPP participants in their personal capacity and not as a representatives of QuiltNSW.

To request judging services for your quilt show or challenge, please complete the Quilt Judging Service Request Form or contact the JEP Convenor Brenda Gael Smith at judging@quiltnsw.com
