I have taken a deco style smokers table (useless in my home) and given it some fabric love. I have used left over diamonds cut for my entry for the 2017 Sydney Quilt Show- Dorrigo Blues.

The Forest Blooms Again

I bought my first flat in Forest Hill, London. I only had £50 left for furniture so I went to evening school to make and upholster some chairs. This is the only one I brought to Australia and it is a bit tired and faded. I thought that covering it in felted and embroidered flowers would help it to bloom again. I loved making the flowers.

Grandma's Chair

This is a chair that I found during the last local Council's clean up in November 2016. It needed some repair to the joints before it was usable. I have upholstered it with a handkerchief, doilies, linen and lace that I have collected, as well as the fabric from an item of my mother's that I have had since her death in 1994.
