I sometimes think that seeing photos of an exhibition or quilt show before seeing it in real life is like seeing the end of a movie before you’ve had a chance to watch it.
For people visiting the show over the next couple of weeks, I don’t want to spoil the effect of walking into the gallery and seeing my quilts hanging, so I’m just showing peeks, little pops of colour, textural stitches, shapes and hints of more.
Plus it’s always nice to stop and look for those little details that can be overlooked when taking in a whole quilt.
🪲
I’ll be at @braemargallery after 1pm today, and all day (10-4pm) on Sunday. There’s a farmers market on next door to the gallery on Sunday and it’s going to be a beautiful sunny autumn day, so perfectly peachy for a visit to the mountains.
