Friday showcase is an informal but informative meeting is held in the QuiltNSW office (Level 5, 276 Pitt Street Sydney) on the first Friday of most months. A QuiltNSW member is invited to speak about his or her quilting experiences and show their quilts. Many of the quilts that are displayed at the showcase are then hung in the office for a month. We welcome QuiltNSW members and non-members to Friday Showcase. There is a small charge of $5.00 for members and $10 for non-members.

The Blue Mountains Community Quilt Show is a biennial Show held during the last weekend of April at John Wycliffe School. Volunteers run the show, which showcases work by many talented local and internationally known quilters. ​Cafe Open serving tea and coffee, Homemade cakes and slices and light meals. Raffle Quilt - Tickets at the door ​"Home in the Mountains" is designed by Anni Downs of Hatched and Patched and quilted by Karen Craig of Tanglewood Quilting. Members of Blue Mountains Quilters constructed the quilt.
