Quilt Australia

Formerly known as Australian Council of Quilters

Narelle Grieve arranged the first meeting of all the quilting Guilds in Australia in 1992. This led to the formation of the  Quilt Australia (formerly known as the Australian Council of Quilters). Representatives from each State Guild meet biennially for a two day conference to discuss common issues such as valuation, judging, sponsorship, awards, exhibition categories and professional and amateur status. These conferences are held in a different State each year with the host State organizing the event.
